Let’s Face It, You’re Getting Your Butt Kicked!
You spend most of your day trying to come up with a strategy on how to succeed in your Home Based Internet Business. If you are already succeeding, you are trying to come up with another sales strategy for your home business to get ahead of the game.
We are all taking not just action, put have the foot on the pedal and are taking MASSIVE ACTION.
Have you ever had a week where you only get one or two hours of sleep?
Has your body ever felt like it was going to turn off?
The joys of running a home business has many pros and cons, but we can all agree, success or not. We are all driven to do better.
It sometimes feels like I am getting my A$$ kicked in a boxing match, my opponent is pounding me, but I will not go down. I am getting hit from all directions, tired, just waiting for the next round to be over.
Right?
I recorded a video about taking a minute to step back from the trenches of the home Internet business world, whether it is with you, your list or your team. It doesn’t have to be all work, you can try to enjoy yourself for minute, refresh, then jump back in. A chance to recharge those batteries.
You need to come up for air and then get back into the ring and you will be all ready to get your home based Internet business back rolling again.
Take a look at the video and see what I mean.
CALL TO ACTION!:
How do you STEP BACK and recharge YOUR batteries?
Are you overworked?
What have you learned from this video?
The video I recorded talks about a few examples that I am going to do.
What about YOU?
Leave a comment at the bottom and let us know what
YOU learned from this post and the video.
By the way… I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by.
If you haven’t noticed it’s a bit quiet around here.
We really need you to
MAKE SOME NOISE
and leave a comment. We have some really cool
people that come around, so make yourself
comfortable.

Tommy your probably won’t get this because you will be on vacation! No seriously your right in saying that sometimes we need step back and reflect on exactly why we work so hard. Not only that but to appreciate the fact we have the opportunity to build some dynamic futures if we maintain our focus and mindset. I try to send encouraging emails and videos to the people I work with. Not just work related but I try to offer words of encouragement and well wishes.

Hey Peter,
Thank you. It has been very relaxing. Getting ready
to go to the pool, thought I would spend a few minutes
checking out my blog.
The pool scene is coming soon, lol.
Have a great day Peter.

Great video Tommy!
Working from home has become sort of an obsession for me. It is really empowering to know that I can make the kind of money I want to make….it is up to me. So, I tend to do too much and then stop doing for a few days to collect myself.
Today I am going to have a break with my friends and family at the pool.
Happy Forth of July!

Hi Tommy,
without recharging our batteries we are doomed to suffer from burn-out, espcecially when doing a business that you can run theoretically 24/7. I myself started with taking Sundays off – that already is amazing. Keep the good stuff coming and enjoy your holidays !
Take care

It is definetly a good thing of taking time off, especially if you
are able to take Sunday’s off.
Have an awesome day Oliver.

I know exactly what you mean Tommy.
We all fall prey to this and if we don’t recharge and channel our time and energy on the things that matter, we’re doomed.
I’m glad you put this video together, it’s very fitting.

Jerome,
If we don’t take a step back we can hurt other things
besides our business. We sometimes get caught up
and our personal life can suffer also.
Hope you had an awesome week!

Yea, I admit it, I have a hard time with this one. I love working from home and work is like play for me. I do need to stop and just relax. I even take my laptop on vacation with me.

Hi Tommy,
You are so right about dancing with burnout. I just took a 10 day vacation in Serbia, visiting a friend. Then when I came back I took a few more days. Now I am back into it refreshed and remembering why I got into this in the first place. It’s a challenge when we have only ourselves to depend on to get up and do the work each day and it can become high pressure. Great content here. Nice to meet you from TSA.

Tommy,
I agree that re-charging is critical to creative brain function as well as being able to successfully run a business without getting completely burned out.
I try to limit how many hours I spend physically working on my business. My subconscious is always thinking of new ideas in the background, and when those ideas come out, I write them down in my Molskine notebook (man I love those things). If I worked myself to the boine, not only would it suck, but those subconscious ideas would not happen either.

I was wondering if you were going to jump in the pool?
We all need to just unplug sometimes. Did you know that overworking can sometimes be a form of procrastination? Very true. Schedule a walk or a game of golf or whatever in your day and it will make you more productive.
Thanks for this refreshing post.

Love your passion, Tommy – as always.
It might sounds strange, but I recharge my batteries by working:). Being a stay-at-home mom, this is what I do to get away from the world. I love it, I am good at it, I am passionate about it – what else can I ask for?

Hey Ana,
That is great! I on the other hand work full-time and working a business 30 hours
really does beat me up. It takes time from my family and especially more time
from my wife.
I just got back from vacation and really had to reevaluate what I was doing. I am
making necessary changes to help me become more productive, give more family
time and help me not to BURN OUT.
Have a great day!

Best thing I could of done. Got my Batteries recharged as you said.

That is awesome how you were able to take that time off and
not worry about anything.
I was away for a week in North Carolina and did not have good
net connection. That was what the doctor ordered. It was nice
to really be disconnected from all of that.

Hi Tommy,
we all need to listen to our bodies and inner beings about when to take action and when to rest or go into cruise mode.
For me having (had) Chronic Fatigue syndrome I find that if I have lots happening, even if it is good, fun stuff, I can end up with a relapse for the next couple of days.
A homebusiness is great because you can choose your own timing.
Cheers
